Staff was nice but not knowledgeable

This is a dope little place. Sure it's not the most organized place on the block, but I think looking around at all the deals is the fun part. They've got a lot of on brand things for great prices and the staff is helpful. Checkout is quick enough. Definitely worth the visit.

I was surprised at the Ollie’s in Wilmington, NC, it could use some updates and better organizing. The cashier was very nice and made sure I got a card. The app is a little confusing and after waiting 4 minutes I gave up waiting for my email response. I did find a few bargains but I’m not sure if it was worth the effort to find things. I’m thinking about applying for a job there just to make it more pleasant and to encourage people to enjoy the shopping experience.

Great customer help! An associate stopped what he was stocking, to help us find the missing mate to a fishing boot, we were very appreciative..we surely didn't want to miss out on that great deal/savings. He helped us with great enthusiasm and a smile. I also purchased very nice cannon towels at a great price.

Usually I would give Ollies a very good rating overall. One Sunday after church we shopped there. At the check out a female cashier had a large pet lizard at the cash register. As she was sharing it with a young teenager, people began leaving the line in frustration.to go the other cashier. I was as patient as my blood pressure and the 10 commandments dictated to me. When I spoke out my frustration my response from the cashier was apologetic and monotone and for that I outdid Ollies and earned Five Stars for myself.
