The MCHA is a non-profit and has a working board that runs it's business out of Moore County's historical Shaw House grounds on Morganton Rd. A lovely place to escape to and escape from the current pace and unconscious way of our culture. Step back, to not so long ago, and see a restored tobacco barn, hand-carved mantles, area photos, explore how a family of twelve lived in a small longleaf pine cabin, and buy some amazing crafts and gifts, like soaps.
