Atrium Health Lincoln Rehabilitation

My mom was here for rehabilitation at the start of the COVID-19 no visitation. The nursing staff and administration was awesome. They went out of their way to make sure that I had contact with her (facetime etc.) and took excellent care of her. The team made sure that I was aware of everything concerning my mom and always asked if I had any concerns Since her departure, the staff has contacted me on several occasions to just check on her. 200 hall was awesome. Meredith has helped me advance from overcoming trouble with swallowing. Help me to improve my speech. She has helped my understanding in my reading comprehension. She is such an encourager and very patient. She breaks down my tasks to goals that are achievable. Amazing therapist.

Acute /inpatient rehab is top notch. Out patient just wants to get you out of therapy as soon as possible and in the least challenging way possible for them so they can move on to less challenging recoveries.make sure you are very clear and have agreement with your goals on day1 . I would get them in writing if I could do it all over again, Otherwise they will set easily achievable goals for themselves so they can discharge you in the least challenging way possible so they can move on to other less challenging patient recoveries. I was discharged without achieving the goal I set with them on the first day. They will also disregard the number of sessions that are approved by your prescribing doctor and insurance and give you the amount of sessions they want to give you, again , to discharge you when they they see fit irregardless of your goals. After the stellar work by the inpatient therapists, I felt outpatient would be just as dedicated. I rejected my doctor's referal to go to Novant because I felt that continuing with Atrium outpatient would be just as good as inpatient. Since I have been discharged without accomplishing anything I wanted to accomplish at Atrium. I am now looking at other options to continue my rehab. OhnDnnont believe the success stories/videos available on the web site as my experience fell way short of any of the experiences depicted.

Absolutely loved the staff. They helped me so much. Would recommend to anyone.

Good, not great. Not open with parents about recovery for children. Isolates children from parents during treatment. I would recommend you find somewhere else for treatment.
