Me and my family were there a couple weeks ago. This is the absolute best place to go if you want to support the Cherokee Community. Everything is hand made and the people helping you are the absolute best especially Ms. Denise. You will love it. Be prepared to spend some time there because as you walk around in there looking something magical happens and time disappears. The craftsmanship is mesmerizing.

I stop by here 2 or 3 times a year when I am visiting from NJ. I like to purchase the hand made Cherokee items to collect and to give as gifts. There is a wide variety of handmade items here. I've purchased beautifully crafted wood bowls and carvings, bead jewelry, mats, dream catchers, carved stone, baskets, and very collectable Amanda Swimmer, H. Long, and Bigmeat black pottery. Some of the service personnel are extremely helpful when I ask the history of an item and its crafter. I am always interested in the Cherokee family relationships. Handmade arrows, slingshots, pea shooters, jewelry, even a leather dream catcher key chain are some of the affordable things I've bought my children over the years.nThere is a display room to observe the fine craftsmanship in the Qualla Arts and Crafts store, and a museum outside and opposite from the building.

Lovely arts place with museum like displays and information. A great place to visit while in Cherokee

Outstanding handcrafts for sale as well as a small display showcasing some of the artists. The quality and beauty of the baskets are extraordinary. I only wish the displays had more information. While I wholeheartedly agree that the baskets are worth the price (imagine the time that goes into their making), I couldn't afford one. Don't go in looking for souvenirs. It is artwork.

If you are in Cherokee, you need to stop here if you want to shop for authentic Cherokee art & crafts. This is a beautiful co-op filled with handcrafted art, jewelry, tapestry, baskets & more.
