Went to graveyard fields falls. Easy hike to lower falls with a 3 year old. Several berry bushes and side trails along the way. Nice shallow area for her to wade in at the lower falls as well.
Great place to go hiking, camping, fishing or look for gems. Gold panning is allowed, but only with a pan.nU.S. forestry needs to get educated on using a gold sluice. Because flash floods do more damage to the streams and creeks than a hand sluice or power sluice. Using a sluicebox in a creek or stream actually improves the water quality, and clarity of the water. It also helps remove the Sediments that accumulate from flash flooding.
