I've worked with Dr. Mamedi as a nurse, and he is our family psychiatrist. IMHO, he is the best! The only people who do not like him are the drug seekers.

Ravinder Mamedi, is by far, the​ absolute worst psychiatrist that I have ever sought treatment from in my 25 years of dealing with psychiatrists​ as a patient. During my initial visit, he took a personal phone call, and proceeded to carry on with the call since it was in a foreign language. The call took up a fair portion of my visit, of which I paid a $70 copay. This was the first psychiatrist, in my 25 years experience, that required a drug test (which took up the majority of the visit) every visit. Not to test medication levels or chemical balance levels, but to test for any illegal drugs. During visits, I was never asked any of the questions asked by other psychiatrists​ about what I was feeling or going through that could be increasing my anxiety. There seemed to be no concern whether the medications were even having a positive impact. All doctor/patient communication had a clinical and distant feel to it. At no point did he ever try to connect with me as a patient. I personally feel that if you are seeking psychiatric treatment, Ravinder Mamedi shouldn't even be considered as a last resort.

Awful wanted to count patients medications claims it was his policy questioned was asked if he counted all patientshe said yes found out it was not true then he stated just implimented but did not give the policy in writing told patient go elsewhere if you don't like does not like patients to ask questions rate a 0 would not recommend him anyone nurse said it was the state law to bring medications to all doctors appts its no state law
