Love this barn and all the customers. Great facility that’s always kept clean. The horses are taken care of very well and loved very much Carolyn is an amazing instructor that cares about her students. I highly recommend this barn
The pony rides were so much fun! Such a fun opportunity for the family. My 3 year old loves horses now and wants to come back for lessons. Tabby, was sweet and patient with my 3 year old. We look forward to returning.
Jon Walker Stables is a home away from home. Carolyn, Jon and the staff have been absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend the Stables for any riding needs, parties, or events
The staff is amazingly knowledgeable and friendly. They take a true holistic approach with teaching not just riding skills, but also teaching the fundamentals of horses and safety. The staff promotes healthy self-esteem and self-confidence with their riders. The trainers truly care about the riders and put an emphasis on ensuring all riders are paired with a horse of their skill level so that the riders walk away feeling good about themselves and more confident with each ride. They plan fun activities for the kids to participate with year round. I highly recommend Jon Walker Stables without reservation. It is a genuinely fun experience.
We were visiting Gastonia from Las Vegas and looking for a place to show our daughters some horses. We called the stable when randomly driving by and Taylor was kind enough to let us drop in and take us on a tour. She gave us a great tour of the property, introduced us to the horses, miniature horses, and even let us feed bandit the goat. Thank you Taylor for being so sweet and taking time out of your busy day to show my girls around!! My mom and sister will definitely be calling for lessons!
