My brother and I just got certified through Van. I would recommend Van for anyone and everyone looking. Van is very nice, enjoyable, and highly knowledgeable in anything diving related! He teaches everything in a very calm manner and makes sure you're competent in the skills required. Additionally, while underwater when everyone completes a skill he gives a fist bump or handshake underwater (I found this slight gesture to be very calming and it just makes you feel super good and proud of yourself!) Once again, I cannot Express enough how much I recommend his dive shop...go in and talk to him for a few minutes and you'll understand how easy going he is, and then sign up! See you underwater.

Only cares about money. Does not have patience if you’re having trouble with a skill. Will teach students while he is injured and unable to rescue you in an emergency situation.
