When we woke on the morning of our scheduled day to rent the boat, it had been raining. There was a 100% chance of rain with high chances starting at 11 o’clock. When we called to inquire about their rain out policy, a man was very rude and told us that we either had to take the boat out or we lose our deposit. He said it had to be raining at the time we got the boat. If it started raining we would have to bring the boat back and receive no money back. We would only be able to get a good three hours out of the boat at best. We ended up having to eat our deposit. We have children and we do not want them getting stuck in the rain because that hurts. I do not usually post negative reviews but I can not get past the fact that this man was rude to my family. I definitely do not recommend.

If I could leave zero I would. We live close to Pickwick Lake and own boats of our own, however we wanted a larger one for the day for a family gathering. We wake up to it raining at our home (less than 3 miles to the lake) and try to reschedule. They absolutely refused to work with us and were extremely rude. We were told the only way any money could be refunded is if they could rent it to someone else. I understand a business needs policy and procedures but there was absolutely NO working with us, no consideration, they really showed they have no concern for their customers or if they'll ever be back. Some of the other arenas may be more expensive, but I'd advise to spend the extra for a better experience.

We rented a boat for 2 days. The second day, we got rained out and I called at 8 am and wastold we could get a rain check. We had the boat back by 10 am due to having to drive across the river in the storm. one person told us we could have a rain check but the other woman said we couldn't because we kept the boat overnight. so we lost $200. these are screenshots of their policy. nowhere does it say if you have the boat overnight, the policy is void.

My family has been coming here for 15 years, and I can tell you for a fact you won't find nicer or more helpful people out here. Also in the summer time the restaurant is such a cool place to go and have breakfast or lunch!

Boat was great, owner was nice....however the lady that worked on the fuel deck was rude and cussed in front of our children also acted like she was gonna die to do her job. Needless to say we won't be back because of her negativity.
