Glad to be BACK! Can't wait for the warmer weather so the downstairs will be open. Some old favorites from the specials menu are now on the main menu. Lots of good stuff! Friendly and helpful staff.
The Fish Whistle at the Granary is such a beautiful water-view restaurant. Every table has a perfect view of the Sassafras river, not a bad seat in the house. Becky, Bobby and the rest of the staff are very attentive without being intrusive. They really make you feel at home and relaxed. The staff were masked the whole time and tables were very spaced out to make it as COVID safe as possible. Tables were immediately sanitized once the patrons left. Exceptional, caring and friendly service. The menu is so much more than just seafood, they have comfort food, sandwiches, salads and great appetizers. The rock fish (striped bass) was so sweet and ultra-fresh and the crabmeat sauce was a perfect compliment. The Carmen is one of the tastiest sandwiches on the planet. The restaurant is a perfect get-away every week not just a place for special occasions.
Food that was supposed to be hot was cold.Friends order never came at all.took it off the bill.
Did take out and food was very good, look forward to dining in sometime.
