Calvert Brewing Company

I really like the brews from Calvert Brewing. They have great quality control and they have a great selection from which to choose.nThe staff is very friendly.nThe only improvements would be to offer more outdoor seating and have a dedicated did truck. However, I'm not coming for the food, just the beer.

Well here we are in the middle of another Southern Maryland ice storm. We have lost power, the water isn't running, and the wood for the fireplace is running low.nWe will, however, face the coming apocalypse bravely. So we have broken out the last of our Calvert Brewing Company Tun Tavern Porter, and kicked back to await our fate. The end of times doesn't look too bad from where I'm sitting.

Great fresh beer. Good selection. They sometimes have their own seltzers. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I wanted to love it. I have loved and enjoyed many of their beers... but something was just off on the current offerings. They weren't bad, they just weren't great. I miss the cream ale, the Wokie, and some of the other solid brews.

Such great beers.nChips and salsa is a winner too.
