I put one star but it should be ZERO. I've eaten at Fat Pat's in Lafayette before and I enjoyed it. I had to work in Carencro this particular night so I called in my order to pick up on my way to work. My hamburger steak was burnt and dry. The sauteed onions tasted burnt. The styrofoam plates were melted. The onion rings and french fries were cold and soggy and tasted like old oil. The fried pickles had so much grease on them that the grease leaked out of the melted styrofoam plate into the bag. Needless to say I wasted $25. My dog didn't even want to eat it. I will never go back to this location

I ordered Togo from Fat Pat's and over the phone Allie had the best customer experience I've ever experience from a restaurant! She was helpful and very informative and even built rapport. When I walked in the hostess welcomed me and told me to head on to the back for Togo orders! I gave the bartender my name that I was picking up and Allie came out to introduce herself like she was long lost bestfriend! She had the best energy, it was contagious and made my day a bit more chirpy! My other coworker ordered that day and said she received the same type of service from Allie! Thanks Allie from the Fat Pat's in Carencro for making our day! Plus, the food as always was delicious ud83dude0b!

The food is good and the portions are solid. I ate the Mile High and would recommend it. If you're worried that they won't meet your appetite with burgers, adding a patty costs a bit over 3 bucks, but the things are definitely 'beefy' to begin with. Pun intended. Patties themselves are well-seasoned, but if you're sensitive to spice, that may not be a good thing.

Appetizers were delicious but was charged full price for both when both were on promo. Entrees were good. Service is where it fell apart. Service started off great but disappeared later in the meal. I asked for refills for the misses and I but received none. I had to wait roughly 10 to 15 minutes after we finished eating before anyone checked on me. I was going to order a to go meal but changed my mind after the extended wait. I asked for my check and a togo box, that was a 5 minute ordeal. I was flustered by the end of my experience but maintained my composure. The likelihood of us coming back are slim because of the service.
