Favorite local bookstore. I remember going to this bookstore as a kid and I’d curl up in a corner with a book and one of the bookstore cats they had at the time. Now with the new location, I still love the atmosphere. Very charming bookstore with a great selection of books, friendly staff, and perfect location in central Lafayette. Shop local!

ALEXANDER BOOKS IS LIFE!!nVictoria is the BOMB, so nice and always ready to recommend books. The deals are UNBELIEVABLE and the atmosphere is soooo cozy and beautiful. And let's not forget about all the awesome local art and goods they sell too! So so so cool, a serious gem in Lafayette. They have a customer for life with me, they exemplify the very best of local business!!

This is a cozy bookstore. I was curled up in a corner previewing a novel and hadn’t realized that 2 hours had passed! I can’t remember the employee’s name, but she was very friendly and didn’t follow me around. My visit was so lovely that I had to buy a t-shirt!! This place will not disappoint!

I loved my visit to Alexander Books. I was visiting Louisiana and had to stop in. There's a great selection of books from many different genres. Prices are great and the store itself is cozy and nice to visit.
