The lot with the sign that indicates free parking is filled entirely with handicap spaces. The lot that is actually free parking for visitors of inpatients isn’t marked with any sign.nnNobody inside the hospital seems to know anything about the parking. You find out where it is by chance if you happen to be there enough.nnIt gives the appearance that the hospital bilks families for parking funds, which itself would be a moral outrage. If they mark the free parking then people who aren’t visiting would likely use it.nnSo this needs to fall on the front desk. They check in visitors and screen them for covid. They’re the only ones any randomly selected person is guaranteed to talk with after going in. And people already parked somewhere — not necessarily the right place — by the time they’re there.nnThis this information needs to be given; not offered.
