Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

So much to love about Sleeping Lady. Beautiful environment, thoughtfully planned accommodations, quiet but for the sounds of the natural world ( cars are parked and then you bring your bags to your room/cabin using a cart.), great food and service at the Kingfisher Restaurant and so much more. Sculptures placed throughout the property, different eating options. I saw one reviewer complain about no microwave or fridge in the rooms. If those kind of amenities ( no TV in rooms either) are important to you you might choose elsewhere, but if you want a peaceful stay nestled in natural wonder with a sensitivity to care for the environment ( and friendly, courteous service), you have found the place. I am already thinking about when I can return.

Beautiful location! The cabin was adorable, clean and comfy. A great getaway. Very dog friendly! Our pup was greeted with some fancy dog treats and a plush bed. The staff were very friendly and they have three different places to eat within walking distance. We tried them all and like the Grotto best. The only place we had bad service and a long wait was at O' Grady's, but the rest was perfect. There were even a few deer roaming around the area. It was a great escape from the busy center of town, you can't go wrong with staying here.

Went for a weekend trip with the wife after receiving a gift card. The rooms and grounds were fine and we enjoyed the trip. Part of the event was meals included at the onsite restaurant. Usually, I am led to believe, this is buffet style but no longer with C19.nAnyway, the food was tasty and inventive but the service was a bit slow and not quite as attentive as it could have been. For example, upon arriving at breakfast we waited many minutes after being seated before being asked if we wanted coffee and/or water. Seems that seating for breakfast should include coffee almost immediately but this was not the case here. Is this nitpicking a little? Yes, but it is an opportunity for improvement and may simply be a by product of waitstaff adjusting to the change in service procedures.nHowever, I want to reiterate the food was delicious and the staff was very kind and friendly.

Great lodge! Great place to unplug and leave the electronics at home and reset your brain. You don't feel like you're on top of others as the rooms are more spaces out. This would be a great place to do a family reunion if you like your family.

wonderful even during the pandemic, rooms were clean and sanitized. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Go book your room now. It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for.
