Dr. Johnny L. Black, DDS

I normally have extreme anxiety when I go to the dentist but Dr. Black and his staff were amazing and made sure I was comfortable.

My experience relates back to an experience around a year ago, but it's still an irritant for me so Ive opted to voice a personal opinion.nBelow is my opinion and my opinion alone.nIn my sole opinion the guy is not a communicator and his workmanship was not very well done in my particular case. My crown fell off in less than a year.nI don't think he likes to be questioned or discuss procedures (which is my primary concern because it's my body being treated and I want to know what's going on). His demeanor came across to me as somewhat of an infallible, arrogant nature. Maybe I read him incorrectly? The experiences I had left a bad taste in my mouth, however, the entire health care system in general has become less personable and caring in my humble opinion. So consider this info if you care to wonder about any biases. Iv'e been around long enough to have a some historical judgement about the good and bad of healthcare.nNot sure why (my wife became involved in the questioning, she has over 30 years in the dental office management field,) but he is either insulted, abject to being questioned or likes to take the easy road without answering questions per my opinion. Possibly another reason for the behavior and actions? I was released as a patient, I guess for asking too many questions, or not coming to terms with the treatment plan at the drop of his hat. Either way, good riddance in the end.nMaybe he will respond and let you know what a bad patient I was, if so, you'll have two sides to a story. Take your pick.nNot saying don't go, just giving my personal experience and opinion.nHe may work out great for you.nI hope so.

Dr. Black and the staff are amazing. I enjoy my visits there and really looking forward on going back to him.

My husband, son and I all go here. Everyone is super nice at Dr Johnny Black’s dentistry. My husband and I have have had root canals and crowns and regular cleaning done here. I’ve had some bad experiences with another dentist in town so I have apprehension about large procedure work but Dr Black is very caring and gentle. No pain here.nThe ladies doing the cleanings are super nice and very professional. They schedule you while there for the next visit and give texts with advanced warning Incase you have to reschedule. Billing is very easy to deal with and will take half now and half when you get your crown on which is nice on the pocket book.nAlso had my teeth whitened here, again very satisfied. We are here to stay!!!
