I have been going here for years. My first summer job was helping renovate and restore the archives. I am so happy to see it come such a long way and like to drive by and pop in from time to time. I was born and raised in Dalton so to feel so close to it's history is an amazing feeling.
Would have been an exceptional experience if it weren't for a nosy intern who remained right on our heels the entire time. She hadn't the people skills to give a tour, nor any knowledge of the history of the location. We felt nervous here and nervousness does not breed inspiration or the hunger for learning: as a museum should.
