The burger was great. Love smashed 'thin' burgers. I ordered a simple plain burger with no fixings. Also ordered a chili cheese dog which was also pretty tasty. I did find the prices a bit high for the food. A double patties burger with nothing was $7.99 and the $6 hotdog seemed more of a value as it was a big dog. The restaurant was very clean and the general atmosphere was inviting. I would recommend giving the place a try.

The food was great - the burger was probably one of the top 3 hamburgers I’ve ever had and extremely fresh, and their pimento cheese fries were excellent. However, this praise of the food comes with an enormous caveat:nnLR Burger is a fairly small restaurant with not a lot of staff, so on weekends or other busy nights, be prepared to do a lot of waiting. We arrived during a dinner rush and waited about 20 minutes in line to order, and then almost another 30 or so to actually get our food. It should be noted that once it arrived, it was very hot and fresh and had clearly not sat waiting at all, but the long wait severely dampened the experience.nnThese things can certainly happen, and while it’s not entirely the restaurant’s fault, it unfortunately does affect the overall experience. While the food was utterly fantastic, it would be an exaggeration to say that it was worth the near-hour wait that we experienced. I highly recommend LR Burger, but perhaps not on a weekend night.

Five Guys move over, LR has taken your title of best burger! My boyfriend and I were craving a good cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms and onions, usually from Five Guys, but alas, none were to be found in Monroe, so we asked Google and were not disappointed! Only problem was, the tomato was green, but other than that, my taste buds haven't been happier! A little pricey it seems, but once you have taken your first bite of this delectable morsel and send your taste buds to heaven, the price is nothing!! LR, you are the best burger this side of the Mason Dixon line in this yankees opinion!

My husband and I come here very often, but the last 4 times we’ve placed orders, they’ve been wrong. I’m not normally one to complain - as the food is still great - but when I’m being charged $1.50 extra for multiple toppings, I do expect them to make them onto my burger. I don’t want to drive 30 minutes to Five Guys, but we may start doing that.
