No communication between patient and staff. Make sure you have a loved one and can make sure the patient gets what they need. Remember your insurance company is paying the bill and they need to do their job!

Emergency room visit few people in lobby no visitors allowed 3HOUR wait to see a doctor
Two months ago my brother went to Rockdale to have vascular surgery. The surgery had to be aborted when he had a minor heart attack. He was taken to a private room to recover. The next morning I was informed my brother had gotten out of his room and fell breaking his right hip. I haven't been able to get to the truth of the incident since. My brother suffers from dementia and he's not able to give us the details. .I was informed if we hired an attorney they will just become more ignorant of what actually happened. . Now we received a bill for almost $1500.00, his copay, and his insurance gave them $78,000.. I'm going to let his insurance know and see if they want to pursue further...We'll my brother had another emergency and was brought back to Rockdale Hospital. . This time they stole or misplaced his street clothes. Guess when they release him he'll have to go home in his hospital gown.. I've been complaining about this to ever nurse and doctor I've come in contact with for the past four days. We're not talking about rags here. Does not do any good to complain. They don't seem to feel a $50.00 pair of pajama bottoms and shirt is worth there time to find... Guess we'll have to see what happens when I deduct it from the bill they send.
Excellent staff, friendly and professional. Nurses and assistive personnel were outstanding. Doctors seemed caring and knowledgeable.
