Great service and location in difficult times
Going to story time at Oconee County Library is like going to a children’s broadway show but BETTER—because the little ones get to take part in it! Rebecca Ballard captivates the children with her upbeat, engaging personality. Somehow she is able to keep even many of the toddlers mesmerized and involved during the experience. She has a beautiful voice, endless energy, and makes each child feel special. From puppet shows to stories to singing, playing instruments and dancing, it is so much fun and my favorite morning of the week! I can’t believe this is a free event at a small public library!
This is a wonderful place for families to come and have fun together. The children's librarian is especially knowledgeable and engaging. They have amazing story time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as many other exiting events every week!
What an amazing little library! For my children and for myself... the people who work there are super friendly and treat you like family. They truly want to help you (with a smile). It is such a pleasant and educational place to be!
