If I could give .05 stars I would. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I have been a life long patient since I was a child and the office was Doctors Jones & Gilbert. I always respected and enjoyed Dr. Gilbert but I will no longer be a patient and take my business and family elsewhere. The lady that works the back desk has an AWFUL bedside manner and decorum. The way she talks down to patients is disgusting. The medication I was prescribed, needed a Preauthorization from the Dr office. I was told to get that preauthorization that I would need to give them an additional $35....mind you, to do their job I have already paid for. My father just had a medication prescribed to him by Dr. Gilbert that needed a preauthorization and was NOT charged an additional fee to “deal with insurance”. Although insurance is how they get paid (mostly) it somehow is not their “job”. I CANNOT preauthorize the medication because I am not the Dr but I refuse to pay the dr office MORE money to do their job. I have had to call my insurance company several times about this preauthorization and my option for a different medication that does not require a preauthorization (which I cannot) and they have helped me in less than 15 min each time and have been exceptionally friendly. Now I ABSOLUTELY refuse to pay GAP, inc out of principal after the way the lady spoke to me and the passive agressive letter I received in the mail a week later telling me to find another dr AFTER I told them I would be seeking a new family doctor.
