I love Empire South and all of the cute finds at this boutique. I personally usually shop at the Watkinsville location but know there’s also an Athens store and I believe one in Hartwell. Not only do they have clothing for men and women, they also have another section of the store with the cutest baby/kid stuff. The second picture included is of my sister and the super soft Lush sweater I recently got her. Such a great shop for gifts, items for yourself and some.

I love these little stores! They always have the cutest things here. The staff is usually super helpful and friendly. There was one incident that occurred and that is why I’m only giving it 2 stars. I had a gift card and wanted to just look around because I did not know what I wanted to buy yet. One of the girls working there approached me and asked me if I needed anything, so I thanked her and responded that I was just looking for now. I felt like I was being watched the whole entire time I was there. The girl was overly watching and checking on me and it was uncomfortable to shop. I understand it’s your job to check on me and just watch because of theft, but this was excessive. I decided to look at the pop sockets on the other side of the store and I heard the girl say “Where did she go?” Which made me even more uncomfortable, so I finally grabbed my stuff and checked out. This was the first timenI experienced anything like this at the watkinsville location, but stuff like this does not make me want to go back.
