I owned a 2009 Challenger that was a show car (17 awards). After having double hernia surgery, I took my car to be washed at Tidal Wave on Hwy 96. The machines stripped the clear coat off the roof of the car ($1,800 worth of damage). Management was unresponsive. Unfortunately the car was totaled by Bambi. I owned 2 other vehicles and will never take them to Tidal Wave. Hand washing for me is the best bet. The equipment needs to be adjusted to not put as much pressure on the vehicle surfaces so as not to beat the vehicle up. I left a review before without a response also. What a shame. Take your car there if you are inclined to do so at your own risk. Not worth it to me.
we love tidal wave. absolutely great customer service, even greater and always consistent car washes, the facility is always clean and the price is a bargain. highly recommend!
Stop allowing these car to be too close. The towels are never available and it’s 5-7 customers per spray bottle. Side note: it’s a pandemic ud83dude37 out here. Other than that the auto car wash is awesome!
Disappointed that you have an employee standing at the machine to pay, maskless, leaning towards my window like 2 feet away from my face. Of course I'm not going to buy whatever membership he was trying to sell me. I wouldn't have gone there if I had known. The payment area is behind the car wash and cars were blocking my view so I couldn't see him beforehand.nnI am not trying to get this employee in trouble. Based on the fact that the other employees I later saw also didn't have on masks, this seems more like a company policy issue.nnEdit to reply: At the time, I did not know why he was there. Waving him away would have been rude.
I own a dog who loves to ride. She also sheds little white hairs that get down in the crevices of my car. I love Tidal Wave on Watson. They have their work space covered and a spectacular place where they clean the inside of my car while I drink my coffee and relax.
