One thing I have learned in the immigration case making stronger is, by submit proper documentation and be prepared accordingly. They charge lots of unnecessary money!!!! Worst experiences ever, not gonna recommend to any friends and family to even go there for consultation!!! Attorney work at this place changes like a weather, so you will be confuse who is handling your case..

Over 17 months, dealing with One path legal has been a terrible experience, even though my case got approved.nn1) Dishonest billing practices – Initial estimate included ‘shipping and handling’, but we were slapped with an extra $200 for handling one day before file was being sent. I was informed it was because we had a ‘large file’, even though we had submitted only the documents requested by the office. When I requested clarity on why, I received no answers except condescension questioning my ability to afford.nn2) Poor communication – It takes multiple follow ups to get a response, with exception of sending invoice or collecting payment. Example, I emailed the office (with legal assistant and lawyer on copy, who both did not respond) three or four times to check case status without response before I finally called. Similarly three emails and no response when I had to collect my documents before I finally had to call. There was no communication or follow up from the law office when I got my appointment notice for biometrics. Nor did they check to see how everything went.nn3) Lack of attention– After the ‘sales’ phase, it seemed that lawyer washed her hands off our case and left it for her assistant to deal with. Our forms were riddled with errors including incorrect SS#, wrong address etc.nAt one point, I was close to getting out of status and had not yet heard back. After multiple follow ups with the office, I was finally informed that apparently USCIS had received my application only a few days before - 3 weeks after package had been shipped, and 10 days after USCIS had cashed my check (?) When I questioned this timeline discrepancy, the legal assistant responded unhelpfully with ‘I don’t know, we don’t work for the USCIS’. I had to request multiple times to speak to someone more senior who could help me. (Turns out, she had misheard the USCIS officer and not even thought of questioning how the package could have been received ten days after check had been cashed).nn4) Unprofessional and rude – The worst experience has been the bullying tactics employed by the lawyer towards their own clients. When I expressed frustration at having to deal with incompetence and mishandling of my case, the lawyer did not once come forward to provide guidance or feedback. However, I did receive a text message from the lawyer later that day that was so rude, so uncalled for, and so obnoxious that I was badly shaken up and moved close to tears. The tone of that message was one that no one would ever consider using with a client, especially by someone who had been hired to 'help’.nnSo overall, a one star experience.
