An excellent physical therapist!

Rachel Biller is the most intuitive and effective physical therapist I have ever worker with. I have sent everyone who I know who has pain to her and she has helped them all heal faster and in most situations remove pain and avoid surgery. I found her when I was I was scheduled for rotator cuff surgery. I had a 1 cm tear in my left rotator cuff and i had only 30% mobility and control of my left arm and a lot of pain (about 6 on a scale of 1-10). She asked me to postpone the surgery for 2 weeks because she said sugery can bring you up to 85-95% of mobility, control and strength in most cases. She wanted me to try using other muscles to try to heal and compensate. She says her goal is to have me cone back as few times as possible. She was right. I went to her office only once a week and she gave me bands to use and shoulder strengthening exercises to do in a door frame and cold/heat therapy. In 2 weeks of the EASIEST physical therapy I have ever had I saw so much improvement in mobility and so much less pain, that I cancelled my surgery indefinitely. After 6 weeks I could see such rapid healing that she told me to continue doing all the exercises at home and did not need to come back. I lived alone then and knowing that I did NOT need the surgery that would keep me from fully using one arm (and would make it difficult to get out of bed or a chair or be able to drive) for 6 months made me so happy, I cried with relief. Since then, my family and friends have used Rachel Biller's physical therapy services very successfully to heal old injuries and multiple injuries that were difficult to heal because past physical therapy for one area of the body made another area worse. She always finds the exercises that take minimal effort to do, take the least amount of time and cause the least amount of pain. It's sometimes hard to see how they can possibly work, because they are so easy, but she is right every single time. Her evaluations are also efficient and you will be amazed at how quickly she can find the problem of your pain. I would go to her even if my insurance didn't cover her practice because it's so reasonable and it works!
