Would not recommend anyone who has any potential need to return an item use this store. We purchased a dress for a special event for our daughter. Unfortunately when it arrived it looked too casual so without wearing it or even removing from the packaging we put it right back in the box it came in, PAID for a shipping label, and returned it. Tags were never removed, it was never worn or even tried in. Several days later without any communication it was shipped back to us with a note saying dirty. I removed it from the package and sure enough there was a 1 cm smudge on the front. The kind of dirt that comes from shipping. I even wonder if it got on the dress when it was unpacked at their facility. Good news is It wiped off very easily. I reached out to them and they replied simply “we will not accept your return”. Do not shop here. If you do, do not expect any type of service- even basic communication.

I love this store. I purchase a number of things for my grandchildren and they are great. There is an excellent selection and your items are sent to you in a timely manner. I've never found another site that has the outstanding selection that Best Dressed Child has!

I ordered a swimsuit from Best Dressed Child, and after receiving no notification of shipment in over a week, the company failed to notify me of a mistake on their website. I had to reach out to them only to find out they didn’t even have the swimsuit in stock. So then they offered to ship the swimsuit directly from the vendor to me. That would’ve be an adequate solution, but they shipped a different style of swimsuit than what I ordered. After reaching back out to them a second time, they didn’t offer a quick solution. I then had to reach out again a 3rd time to ask for a prepaid shipping label to ship the incorrect item back. They asked me if I wanted them to ship me the correct suit. After this, I didn’t want to deal with it and said no. Several hours later, they said they sent me another swimsuit anyway. The complete lack of apology or offering any solutions proactively without me having to reach out again and again is poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and order your kids clothes elsewhere. There has been no apology for their mistake and completely wasting my time. And now I get to deal with shipping back the swimsuit a 2nd time bc of poor communication.
