I loved my experience kayaking with Wesley! He was such a knowledgeable tour guide and I learned all kinds of interesting things about not only the lake but the entire state park. He made sure my boyfriend and I knew what we were doing and the tour was so much fun. He had a wonderful personality and I would definitely recommend to all. We had a wonderful time!

We think of trails in the forest but not in the water, yet there clearly are miles of water trails that weave through the cypress trees here. Yes, you'd get lost without Wesley, and he has a lot of knowledge to share. It's a surreal experience to glide silently along these glassy water trails. You'll see lots of turtles, probably a snake or two, osprey nests and maybe even a gator. And you'll love the experience.nnBesides, where else can you climb a tree in the middle of a swamp? It's a don't miss experience.

We had an amazing experience here. The cypress trees and the Spanish moss look magical while you kayak your way through the area. Wesley, was very knowledgeable about the place and also patient and helpful with people who were newbies or struggling a bit. You can chose between tandem or single kayak and he also gave us some training in the beginning to feel more comfortable in the waters especially for people who did not know much about kayaking. He definitely knew his way around the entire park and shared some interesting historical tidbits about the mill and the wildlife on the way. We are already planning on coming back in another season !

My dear friend took my grandsons age 11 and 12 here and what a wonderful family fun adventure we had. The guide was friendly, fun and showed us many things about the animal and the beautiful Sycamore trees all over. What a wonderful place to go kayaking.
