Richland Public Library

This library is great, my only complaint is one of the librarians gave me and my father a dark look as I checked out the shining, I understand the hesitation because I am in middle school but all the other librarians are very sweet, and the lobby area is also great if you want to wait and read for a while with a drink. And the classes are very fun, and for the fact most of them are free is amazing. Last summer for me was very fun because of the endless amount of books and movies to check out and classes to go to!

The staff that work here are very sweet and polite, we've had nothing but positive experiences. The best part is they offer virtual checkout (e-books) so you can load your kindle reading list for free through their resources!

Amazing books. Great librarians. Amazing drinks. All around the best library I've been to that I can remember.

Cons: A couple of the kids books I've gotten here have had pages ripped. And some of the DVDs are too scratched to play. I also agree that at times it can be too loud to concentrate.nPros: lots of fun kid events. I think the coffee is delicious. A very good selection of books. Can also find some good free books here from time to time. Its very close to the transit center so it's convenient to get to it.

If you move and your still in tri cities but not Richland you no longer can use the library. You can if you want to pay yearly for it which is a bummer. Also it dosent matter if you never had a late book In your life. Or if you respect the library and are honorable when borrowing. Rules are rules. Maybe this is why kindle and e books are very popular...your not excluded.
