We are able to overnight park our motorhome and sleep for free! Of course, we went shopping and ordered a yummy take-out meal from a restaurant. Limitations to RV parking - RV must be less than 30 feet and parking is restricted to public parking area along the bay for no more than 36 hours.
Great parking lot, lots of space and it’s free.
Most of the parking here is 3 day parking and is all free. So dock your RV here for a few days. Vist the Cumberland island and take in what the old town has to offer, maybe even a fishing/ boat sightseeing trip. If you have bikes get out and bike the town or take them to the island. Maybe charter a boat to Fernandina Beach?
Cumberland Island National Seashore Visitor Parking. It does what it says. Free to the public. Overnight campers and backpackers should park here. This is dirt lot under the shade of cedar and live oak. Safe, small-town style parking.
