My sister chose to use the Lofton Funeral home for my mother. When I called to make a request regarding my mothers service, Tina Lofton, the owners wife, became very rude when I made the simple request that my mother not be placed on their facebook page. Tina went on a tangent telling me how she wants to be laid to rest without me asking and then begin to gossip about previous funerals they had done in the past. I asked Tina for a second time that my mother not be posted on her facebook page. She began poking and prodding for an answer as to why I would make this request and seeking to quickly resolve this situation. I gave her my reason. What I did not expect was for her to then become belligerent telling me I should listen to her advice about how I should handle my own mothers service. Needless to say, me and Mrs. Lofton exchanged words and then she hung up in my face. Shortly after that I received a call from her husband, Alvin, threatening bodily harm to me. This funeral home should be shut down. Don't ever use them; they mix their own personal feelings and vendettas with business. Only rating 1 star because there isn't an option for 0.
