The fluorescent lights resemble that of a fever dream where small children are staring at you from behind earring racks every way you turn, and you can’t seem to shake the feeling that you’re being watched. The employees are distantly helpful, with faraway looks in their eyes as soon as their plastered work smile fades. Truly a wasteland of plastic parents will be urged to buy by their preteen children.

I enjoyed my time at Claire's. The clerk who took care of me was very personable and outgoing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the procedure she was going to do. She took a lot of time with me and made me comfortable. At the age of 78, I had my ears pierced!
