Yo they gotta do a little better keeping things sanitary. As a long time resident in Broward..I take the bus by choice and is a convenient way for me to get around (work, etc.) But I always dread waiting for the buses there because 1. The buses are either late or not in service 2. There are usually pests everywhere...and they can also do a better job with transitioning some of those people who live there at the terminal because you see the same thing everyday and I see how that kind of stuff affects my city and our tourism as a county...I go to other places (Miami, West Palm) and they're public transportation isn't usually this bad
If you go later at night, like around 10pm, I suggest you carry a gun, you may need it. Just saying. Earlier in the day is fine, but once the downtown night crowd starts roaming around, you better be packing heat.
Buses are usually on time but the frequency of them is not good enough. Also it would be easier if there was an app that could track bus services and explore their timings.
Left my bike on the bus and know the bus # but they won't contact the driver to let them know...we will see tomorrow if it gets turned in and I get it back....they turn it in...It was bus 1402...stay tuned Quick update on the bike issue. It turned out to be a great experience from customer service. Got bike and they even held it in the break room for me to pickup over the weekend
The terminal seems compact and is easy to pass through. The route displays and estimated departure times are helpful. The staff aren't personable but handle issues in a timely manner. The Brightline station is across the tracks and you should be able to board almost any BCT bus here.
