We travelled out to Shaffer’s to have BBQ for the first time today! To say is was good is not enough, it completely passed our expectations! The BBQ was delicious, I personally had the burger and it melted in my mouth... Sooooo good! The staff was amazingly polite and helpful and they had some very nice beer selections! If you want a nice drive on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon/evening or you are driving through I highly recommend you stop for yummy eats!!!
This is the best BBQ in our area! The owner is super knowledgeable about his craft. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They are so polite and acknowledged every person that walks through the door even if they’re slammed. Oh, and the beer selection is the best around!
Great people. Excellent food. Brisket breakfast sandwich on sourdough was perfect. Breakfast potatoes are crisp the way I like them. In house smoked bacon was a home run, very crispy. The deserts looked amazing.... The key lime pie was made by a baker that knows what they are doing. It was perfect, especially the crust. Just one of many stars here. Definitely going back.
Delicious! We tried the BBQ for two and it was amazing. The brisket was my favorite, followed by the hushpuppies. My husband got the chili as a side and it was delicious too. We also tried the mac and cheese and redneck egg roll, both of which were very tasty and I would eat again.nnThe pork was the only part of the dish we didn't love. But it was still good. The atmosphere was friendly, the portions were good and I'd definitely come again!
I love getting their delicious BBQ, Fried Chicken, and Country Ham sandwiches, all of which are tasty and great. Friendly employees, great atmosphere, and wonderful food! You can't go wrong going to Shaffer's!
