Talk about going above and beyond! I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, an area not serviced by River Pools, but I was intrigued by their website and contacted them for a consultation. Knowing that they would not get any business from me, a high level executive promptly returned my call and spent 20+ minutes answering and explaining questions regarding pool design/setting issues and hydrostatic pressure. It was very informative and greatly impacted our design decisions. Great 'customer' service and highly knowledgeable. Would certainly use them if they were in our areas. The pool install had a few issues but not anything the company could have done. The pool and concrete install we have no complaints. Only major issue we have is with the guys they used to do the grading. Instead of hauling away the excess gravel he buried it adding a foot to my grade height and leaving me with an absolute expensive mess to see with this spring. They did come back out once to try and fix it but it was clear the guy didn’t know the proper way to fix it. This spring I’m left with 5k bill from a landscaping company to fix the mess that was left behind from the guys that did the grading.

After researching the various manufacturers of pools that can install in our area of North Carolina (Raleigh), we found the highest quality pool with the features we wanted was River Pools. The design, engineering, and quality of River Pools is clearly superior to the other options available in our area, and carries the best long-term warranty. We went with a D36 in Granite Grey and couldn’t be happier. They actually talked us OUT of the D40, out of 4' more pool in our large yard, because there isn't that much difference in length... yet we saved over $5k with that decision. We began this journey in April 2020 with a less-than-stellar pool install company. After reversing course, we ended up partnering with Elite Pools out of Greenville, NC, which River Pools directly validated on our behalf. That ended up being a fantastic experience, and we have left a very positive Google review of Elite Pools as well. Overall, we had very positive dealings with the owner of River Pools, and appreciated his honest insight and assistance with our process.

I work here, so I'm biased. Seriously great owners, honest to a fault. They will hurt their bottom line to make your project right. A great company, with a great future.

This company has absolutely ZERO Integrity!nI did months of research and then contacted RP to design and move forward. The whole design phase and $500 is a joke! They did a total bait and switch. Quoted one price and wouldn’t honor it when time came to sign the contract. I’m very particular about honesty, morals and values and RIVER POOLS HAS NONE!!! I asked to speak with the owner to try and resolve the issue but after repeated calls I could never get anyone on the phone! That seems to be a common theme when they’re not doing right by the customer. Karma will catchup with Jason Hughes and his crew. Right now all they care about is the next blind customer who’s handing over 75K.
