The food was very well presented, very authentic, and delicious. We had the Saffron Platter for two. The dish had 3 large kabobs- chicken, beef, and lamb. The kabobs were done perfectly: well seasoned and grilled till just done. The flat bread that accompanied it was very fresh. The rice dish had 4 different combinations—all were very flavorful. We did not have dessert but the platter of choices looked very good and were all made in house. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but the interior was decorated with linen table clothes, fancy glassware, and table decorations. Restaurant was very clean. Restaurant is located in Hilton Village. There is a industrial section within a few miles down the road but the restaurant site is within Hilton Village residential section and very safe. We will happily return to this restaurant anytime we are close to Newport News, Virginia.

Everything was so good and seasoned to perfection. I came in late in the afternoon on a Sunday to one guy running the restaurant who I can only assume was the owner. He was very nice & friendly. The chicken platter was around $18 with taxes included but when I say that this can certainly be shared between two peoplenit totally can! I’m just fat and everything was so tasty I ended up devouring it. The inside is also beautiful as well. Don’t just drive by this place on Warwick you will be impressed!

A OMG find for me since I really like Med food. I strongly recommend the fried eggplant appetizer! WOW! My entree was the salmon kabob, which came w several types of rice. The host explains the dishes too, giving the diner a little cultural knowledge too. A MUST place for Med lovers in Newport News

This place is fantastic. Hidden treasure! The ambiance was quant and the waiter was very personable. He explained the different foods on the menu. Everything we had was great but the falafel was off the wall delicious. The amount of food you get for the price was crazy too. We took enough home for a second meal! I can't wait to go back. ........2 years later....still delicious!

Less than average.nnPrices were above the average based on the atmosphere and food quality.nnIf you want to spend ~$80 [2people] for an experience, I would recommend it.nnBut if you want to spend your money in good food and atmosphere, choose some where else.
