I can’t speak highly enough about our trip on the Lower Salmon. It was spectacular. Beautiful scenery, awesome rapids and the best guides. The team was so knowledgeable and just a blast to be around. We saw big horned sheep, bald eagles and lot of different types of birds. We took this trip to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday so they threw him a party at camp. So sweet! The food was also top-notch. I’m a vegetarian and they were so accommodating.nnI was a little nervous going into the trip - this was my first white water trip and I wasn’t sure what to expect in regards to the rapids. But the guides made me feel so safe and comfortable that I quickly got over the fear and just enjoyed being on the water. :)nnI highly, highly recommend OARS . They are legit.

Extremely organized from pre-trip communication through the final day of our Salmon River experience. The guides were extremely competent and provided for our every need. We are looking forward to traveling with OARS again the future!

Did a lower Salmon trip with OARS, everything was top-notch. The guides were wonderful and made sure that we had a great time while also keeping safety as a top priority. I was on a SUP for the entire trip and our SUP guide was fantastic--extremely knowledgable and a great teacher. Everything about the trip was amazing--the scenery, the people, the food.

This, Idaho Main Salmon, was my second rafting trip with OARS. It was (as was the one on the Rogue Wild & Scenic) FANTASTIC. The gear, the guides, the food & drink, the tours & hikes of historical places along the river ... all outstanding once again. The guides know their river and how to navigate it.
