Today was the first time I’ve visited this particular shelter. My family and I have been searching for the perfect addition and we found her today! The staff was super helpful, and the process was quick and painless. And extra kudos to the staff because this was the cleanest shelter I’ve ever been in.nn*edited to add: they also microchipped her and tested for flv and various other diseases before allowing us to take her home, all of which I appreciate so much! You can tell these folks really care about their animals and their facility. If I could give 20 stars, I would.

I have supported the Pittsylvania Pet Center since the day it opened because the people there are devoted to the welfare of abandoned animals in our county. The director and employees are amazingly creative in finding placement for all animals and have expanded their reach to partner with shelters all over the state. The result is animals are placed with loving families who are screened appropriately to ensure pets will be cared for and loved. All you need to do is look at the pictures on PPC social media of smiling families and their new pets. It’s truly beautiful. Great work all!

I love the Pet Center. The front desk always greets you with a smile. The cat rooms always clean. With food n water. Before Covid. My grand daughter loved to go n play with the kitties. She loved to carry food n toys to the animals. Great place to find your forever pet.

I adopted my kitty from them and I was with my dad when he adopted his dog from the Pet Center. Couldn't have asked for a better experience either time. VERY clean facility. Friendly staff. They provided all the information we needed on both animals. The adoption process was easy but thorough. When the time comes, I will DEFINITELY choose Pittsylvania Pet Center again.

I love the pet center! I’ve fostered a couple dogs and even adopted my sweet Sasha from there. :) The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely check them out!
