This area has changed. Back in 80's I wouldn't be comfortable walking to bus station etc. They have cleaned up and added food shops even a Dunkin doughnuts. Shipyard employees don't have to go as far to get a decent lunch. There is also a hotdog cart that shows up and mr.mean bean mobile food and beverage service. Mr. Mean Bean is new to this area only been coming here within past year or 2. I will find out more info on it to have better update. But this area is growing and it's clean and refreshing and safe today!!
Truthfully it isn't my favorite place, however this area is right across from the Court house so you don't see too many bad events occur too close to this area. I myself have to attend meetings at the CSB building that is litteraly several feet from where this photo was taken at for this post
