Stayed here with my mom over the weekend. It was nice the staff are friendly and the trails are really pretty. They provided tubes in case you wanted to relax and flow down the river. 11/10 would come again. PS watch out for Daddy long legs.

I dont think there aren't enough words to describe this place. I came here alone to clear my mind, and my spirit. This place allowed me to do that, and put me back on the right path. The food, the people, the living quarters, and most of all...the beauty of the land.

Seven Oaks Retreat did not disappoint. It was the most calming peaceful places I have ever been. In town for our son’s graduation from UVA Law, we stayed in the Oak House with 10 other family members. It was such a wonderful experience to be altogether making and having breakfast, drinking coffee outside in the quiet morning air while watching the deer wander right past close enough to almost touch was remarkable. We all had such a marvelous time; everyone is still talking about it! It was close enough to the college to make getting to the ceremonies easy, but far enough to still have that feeling of “getting away.” I wholeheartedly recommend Seven Oaks if you will be staying in the Charlottesville area. Paul, Kim and Gretchen are wonderful, helpful and so welcoming you will never want to leave. Thanks to them all for making a very special family occasion that much better.

Been attending a nearly week long retreat for at least 5 or 6 years here. The land is magical and if you know how to sense devic energy, you will be delighted to be here! The food is always very very good and the modest rooms have all the critical basics. The beds are VERY comfortable (and I am picky about beds). Sevenoaks has a very healing energy about it, I always feel very restored when I am there. The grounds are lovely and well tended...it is a place that is clearly loved by those who invest their lives there and those who visit.

I've been coming to Sevenoaks twice a year for over three years now and it's begun to feel like a home away from home. The beautiful grounds, excellent facilities and great staff have always made my visits fulfilling, leaving me to look forward to my next visit. This is the best retreat venue I have experienced. See for yourself!
