Walmart Pharmacy

I dont know about anybody else but I'm sure there is plenty of people that would agree...There is no ecxuse for only having 2 LINES OPEN and self serve....Who wants to go to self serve when u have a basket full and then tie up the lines for people who have less items...Walmart needs to reThink there decisions ud83dude1fud83dude1fud83dude1fud83dude1fud83dude1fud83dude1fud83dude1f

The customer service here is abysmal and they probably think they can get a way with it because they're the closest pharmacy for many in the area. Previous prescriptions have taken hours to fill and there is always an issue at pick up. Yesterday, I was both emotionally and physically exhausted after going through my daughter's first surgery. It had been a rough experience but we were discharged and given a prescription. On the way home I stop here to drop off her prescription and the lady at the drop off tells me that my insurance wont cover it because it's not on the right type of paper. At this point I'm like what does that even mean because this is what the doctor gave us. So she says it has to be on a prescription paper so I'm freaking out because my daughter needs this so I ask how much for me to just pay cash. She tells me its $108 which at this point I'm looking at her like shes nuts. It's at this point that she finally tells me that they can cover a verbal and call the doctor. Why didn't she lead with this? Would have saved us both time and a freak out.so once that's sorted I sign up for text alerts and head home to get my daughter situated and comfortable. Five hours passed and no alert and we need that medication so I drive over to ask about it and its been filled for awhile they just hadn't alerted me. So frustrating. I'd rather drive farther and deal with people who care about their job then put up with this mess again.

Great customer service

Do some shopping figuring the prescriptions would be ready 2.5 hours after they were submitted, go to check and I get the it will only be 15 more minutes. Check back after 15 minutes and get another it will be 15 more minutes. Took about 3 hours total.

Well, this is the last time I will use this location. 2 weeks ago I was discharged from the hospital. Had my scripts sent there. When my husband stopped to get the medication, he was told they had to order it. They had 24 hours to call and let someone know, but they didn't. We went there together the following day. We were told it would be there. We get there and they tell me they can't get the medication. Are you kidding me??? Once again, nobody called and at that point it was too late to get the doctor on the phone. I expressed how disastified I was that they had ample time to let me know so I could contact the doctor or the insurance company. Once again its too late. I figured it was just a bad experience but today, a new set of faces provided customer diservice again. I had my scripts sent over again. I called so my husband wouldn't waste his time again. They tell me one of my 2 scripts are filled. They needed preauthorization but failed to call me so I could get someone on the phone. The insurance company won't pay for it without. It wasn't a narcotic, I don't understand. I will pay the cash price because I need my meds and I will go somewhere else. Don't they understand that they are in the business of providing medication so people can feel better. If you can't fulfill your duties, at least provide enough infornation to the customer so they can handle it. What a lousy experience.
