Absolutely one of the wonders of Norfolk. Wow these amazing statues where brought by ship. Extremely heavy stones. It is such an honor to have a beautiful garden and prayer place and a place to meditate in Norfolk. Contrary to belief Buddhism is not a religion. Buddhism is a philosophy. It is because it is non-theistic and does not generally involve worship of a supernatural entity. Could you make it a religion? yes if you start worshiping Buddha... but then that would be completely the contrary of the whole ideal of the philosophy. So you can not say this is a house of worship but a garden of peace, It should be protected by the city and all political, religions and beliefs should come together here to find common ground. This is what Buddhism is. Please help and donate money to maintain this place! there is no magical being that makes this place magically beautiful, it takes the hearts and minds of people like myself to donate and help maintain this facility and hopefully expand the grounds, so far it is looking better and better each day.

Very serene; no one else to be seen. Rex & i wandered around sniffing the marble statuary. Seems that people & pets are welcome - no signs to the contrary.

So tranquil. The service is on Sundays at 10 or 11, but I prefer to stop by on my own time for quiet contemplation of the statues.
