I have spent the afternoon searching for a pizzeria. I'm glad I chose Sal's. This pizza is wonderful, the taste is amazing and they definitely have the N.Y/N.J style pizza. I was surprised I was able to find garlic powder, oregano and crushed red pepper there on the counter. Just the extra ingredients I love to add to my pizza. Great job Sal's NY Pizza!!!!!

If you are new to the area, let me save you some time. This is the best pizza I've had in the entire Chesapeake area. I can't speak for the other Sal's locations, but this one off of Battlefield Blvd was my pizza place of choice for the time I lived in the area. Great taste, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, with a nice crunch to the crust to top it all off. Never had any issues with employees or my pizzas. I seriously can't recommend them enough.

Great food, and good people! I get lunch there a lot and I've never been disappointed and they have a great variety. Highly recommend

So far so good. I do feel the Stromboli needs to be cooked longer a little char & crispiness would enhance the flavor. This is my first take out order in my new spot ud83dude0a
