Ken, Dawn, and the other staff are absolutely amazing!nnI sought therapy following a Total Shoulder Replacement. I was pleased with the pace in which they executed my Plan of Care, felt safe because they required everyone (including staff) to wear face masks (or shields) at all times, and impressed with my progress which allowed me to graduate out of the program sooner than I expected. I will return once my other shoulder surgery is performed.nnThey take your recovery to heart and care strongly about your progress. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

I can’t say Thank You enough to this team for all their support during my physical therapy. Ken and his staff are so welcoming and make you feel like you are part of their team and all working toward the same goal to better your self by explaining the process of therapy and how to get you back to normal. They really care about their patients. Ken, Dawn, Lisa and all their staff are just Amazing!nnI started therapy after my surgery for frozen shoulder, this team put a plan together and executed it at a pace that I was comfortable with. I finished my last visit on Thursday 3/11/2021 and I am going to miss these guys. I felt proud of what I accomplished during therapy. They take your recovery very serious and work with you to ensure when you leave you are feeling good with the progress made.nnIf you’re doctor says you need physical therapy look no further .... Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake is the only place to go. You won’t be disappointment and will succeed!

Let me start off by saying that I really haven’t had the best luck with PT. Due to that I wasn’t a firm believer that PT was even worth going. I wasn’t really wanting to try it again but having back surgery it was kinda needed. Let me just say that I am so very happy I chose the Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake!!!nnI felt welcomed day 1 and was so pleased to see that everyone including the Owner worked together seamlessly. They all truly care about what they do and want you to reach your goals. I was never push beyond my levels but reach the encouragement I needed to get myself back to 100%.nnAfter all of my sessions I was allowed from insurance, I feel that I am at least 50% closer to my goal of getting back to where I want to be. And in the 2 months I was received therapy I enjoyed every visit even though by the end I had worked up a sweat but felt accomplished.nnI don’t want the ladies at front to be forgotten, they were welcoming and so patient with me when my plans changed and I had to reschedule or cancel. Ken your staff is beyond wonderful!!nnTo top it all off, on my last day they didn’t want me to leave, which made me feel so wonderful..nnI could go and on about my new friends at Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake, but instead if you need PT services I strongly suggest you give them a call....

I recently finished four months of physical therapy at Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake following left shoulder replacement surgery. My choice was the result of prior experience there plus a very positive recommendation by my Orthopedic Surgery Group. I can say without reservation that I feel I got the best possible therapy available in this area. I was very impressed by their professionalism, their courtesy, their kindness, and their attention to my treatment.nnKen tailored a program for my specific recovery needs. He and Dawn did an outstanding job of managing my progress throughout the process. Someone was always observing as I progressed through my exercises - - always making sure the exercise was done correctly and that the right equipment/weights were being used.nnI also want to compliment other members of the staff who were always one or more steps ahead of me – making my appointments - - setting up the next piece of equipment or assembling the necessary weights for my next exercise. They also took great care to ensure everything was properly cleaned and sanitized.nnOverall I couldn’t be happier with my experience there and would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

I had a total knee replacement in October 2020, and words cannot begin to express my gratitude to Ken and his entire staff at Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake. From the moment I limped in the door, I knew I was in the right place; they made me feel like family. The atmosphere is inviting and there is a lot of chatter and laughter between the staff and patients. I had physical therapy sessions 2-3 days a week for a little over three months and never once did I not want to go. They challenged, encouraged, and educated me every step along the way, giving me confidence in my new knee. I walked out of the Center able to do what I want to do, pain free. If you need physical therapy make the Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake your first choice, you will not be disappointed. Jeff M.
