The Dismal Swamp Canal Trail is beautiful, but the portable restroom by the parking area is abysmal. There was no TP, no sanitizer, and the toilet seat was covered in feces.nnCome out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, but if you need to pee, hold it or drive to a brick and mortar restroom.

Not so much a hiking trail as a bike path. A large paved bike path. Some historic signage along the route.

I've been a few times for bike rides and walks. Love it. But haven't cast any lines. How's the fishing?
