Was approached today by a male, whom I believe to be the pastor or an elder since he lives next to the church, was talked to, and cussed at in a very rude manner. He asked me to tell ( not going to mention a name) that we are not welcome here and to get off the private property. This was the first time I was approached about this, and didn't think I deserved to be talked to in such a manner. I am a member of friends church in Hampton, and if I heard my pastor or elders talking in this manner to anyone, i would have serious words with them. I understand that this was private property, and would left just as quickly, and respectfully as we did had he been kind, and professional. We didn't make a mess, and left as quietly as we came. Not 5 minutes after, we left 2 chesapeake city school busses parked exactly where we were. As I am sure they probably have permission to park here, I am not upset about this. But if this was the issue, again, we could have be asked to leave politely, and not cussed at in such a manner. Since I live on the peninsula, I probably would not have become a member of this church, but I would like to warn anyone who might think of visiting, you may want to try somewhere else. If this is how their leader treat strangers when noone is looking, what else is going on?

It's a Wonderful Church environment they go above and beyond for the children a great all-around Church to a tent

Well organized fellowship. Pastor and congregation well taught and discipled in Christ. Friendly folks. If I lived here, I would join.
