We went through them to get carpet tiles for two rooms that we didn’t want to ruin our hardwood floors with. Gave us a great deal on overstocked colors. We also got our laminate flooring through them which also has been great. Their laminate was a better price, quality, and warranty than the big box store. We didn’t use them for install just products. We installed it ourselves.

This company is very well seasoned and in my opinion the very Best in the field!

This is a hard review to write. I have mixed feelings here, but my displeasure is winning over my other feelings.nOn the phone, the AST people are friendly and very pleasant to speak with. The problem I have, is that none of them knows how to keep a promise or deadline. I was told twice (from two different calls) that they would call me back with quotes. When Dan Killian (apparently the owner) finally got back to me he gave me said quotes and said he'd take a look at the space it was to be installed on. We set a date and time. I waited on said day and the time passed. I called and left a message, but no word from Dan until many days later, where he said something came up and rescheduled. Up until that point I had just assumed he didn't care, after all what type of person/business misses a scheduled appointment without any word? But at that point he called back and I decided to give him another chance and move forward. Unfortunately, Dan Killian does not value other people's time as much as he should. Not only did he miss the second appointed day and time, he did so without a message or call again. I called him just to make sure, but as before he didn't pick up and probably won't reply for a few days. This isn't good business acumen.nnTLDR: The company people sound nice on the phone, but they clearly don't care about the people who talk to them. How they make money is beyond me.

First of all, I flip houses for a living and this was by far the worst service I have experienced with an install. I had them do the job for me in May. It took them time just getting around to do the job. Once they did get around to the job, they left a mess after laying the carpet. They took the toilet off and left it in the bath tub and dismantled the base board heating and didn't bother putting it back on. I had the house listed at the end of May and had bad reviews due to their negligence and was surprised when the realtor asked me when the job would be finished. I called and emailed Dan Killian, the owner/President, and he said they will put the base board heater back on the wall but he wouldn't put the toilet back on since he isn't a plumber. it has been 10 days since I last emailed him and the work still isn't done. I live 7 hours away and am now paying someone else to do his shortcomings.nnI would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Even guys on Craigslist provide better service than this company.
