When Dr Nazar was my doctor I was Sheena Prewitt. I remember I had slipped and fell on ice. I was in so much pain. I suffered for a year no doctor knew what was wrong with me. I was finally blessed to find Dr Nazar. I went in talked to him , he had me to lay down in the exam table. He bent my leg one time and knew what was wrong with me. I had a tattered cord. He was the sweetest man I ever met. He loved and cared for his patience. He did my surgery and fixed what was wrong. He told me he was going to write a thesis on my surgery. That was back in 1996. I would love to know how I could find it. I would love to read it as well as my daughter which is in the medical field. God bless you Dr Nazar. Enjoy your retirement. I just wish you hadn’t retired yet. I was in a accident where a truck run a red light and t boned me in my drivers door. I’m in so much pain, and know one has found out what’s going on yet.

My husband had terrible back pain that brought us to the emergency room. After a lumbar MRI which showed really nothing significant we finally got his pain under control. We went home only to have him lose function of his legs and feeling below his mid abdomen. We went back to the ER and Dr. Nazar (who was filling in for our regular neurosurgeon) was consulted. He was very kind and compassionate. He ordered an MRI of his thoracic spine, and while it wasn’t conclusive (my husband was in too much pain to hold still) he was convinced there was some bleeding in his spine. He spent hours with us until we could get an anesthetist to put him to sleep to redo the MRI and found some blood near the spine. He recommended emergency surgery to decompress the area and with some persistence and thorough surgical examination found a rare intradermal sub arachnoid spinal bleed. He carefully opened the space around the spinal cord and was able to evacuate the blood. When my husband woke up from surgery he had regained all feeling and movement to his lower body.nDr. Nazar was instrumental in diagnosing this problem, and through his surgical skill and persistence was able to find the cause and fix the problem. His bedside manner is spectacular and his thorough evaluation of the problem has resulted in my husband regaining full use of his lower body instead of being paralyzed or severely compromised. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nazar. You are in excellent hands if he is your surgeon.

Dr Gregory Nazar is the reason I am alive today. He is worth every penny
