Alaskan Dental Arts is a place you can feel comfortable receiving dental care. Everything is done to the highest standard and they make visits personal and fun. I recommend Alaskan Dental Arts in Fairbanks.

I highly recommend Alaska Dental Arts! Although they are not my primary dental provider, I was able to get a same day appointment for my dental issue. Dr. Lowe and the rest of the staff were professional, friendly, and very welcoming. I generally have problems with anesthesia (becoming numb). Dr. Lowe was patient and confident that he could sufficiently numb my mouth to complete the work. I am happy to report that he was right! If you need dental care, look no further than Alaska Dental Arts!

Dr. Jenson was so bad. He was not a dentist who cared for people that had dental anxiety. He burned my lip during a root canal treatment. I still have pain in my lip sometimes where it was burned. I now have major anxiety about going to the dentist because of that incident. Although this dentist went back to his hometown his wife was very nice. I don't know how the practice is now with the new dentist working there but I did not have a good experience when I went. There is other stuff too like being annoyed that I wanted pills for the second root canal because I was traumatized by the first one he did after he burned my lip. Alaska Dental Arts keeps sending me messages to write a review and I am sick of it so here is my honest review and you can take me off your email list! There are many qualified dentist in town that have compassion to see. Thank you!

I’ve always received great care at Alaska Dental Arts in Juneau until my last visit. It was a cleaning and X-rays. The tech who cleaned my teeth did a great job. It was the female dentist that I had never seen before. I assumed I was getting the same dentist I had before. I was told before that I had 3 options to filling the hole where a tooth was removed. 1. Use a permanent type of bridge that would hook to another tooth, 2. screw a tooth into the bone or 3. leave as is. When I asked the female dentist she said I could not have the bridge because the tooth next to it was not straight. She never offered the screw tooth into bone. I asked if there was a way to whiten my teeth without using trays. She said my teeth are already white. My teeth are not white, otherwise I never would have asked. I wish I could have had the male dentist that I had before. Not sure about going back unless I can have the male dentist again that I’ve always had. Otherwise staff is great.

I am so glad I found this dentist. It was a lucky accident. I came to him originally because he accepted Medicaid. Now I would go to him regardless. He is fast and gentle. He is a magician when it comes to fixing things I didn't think he could fix. I am not fearful when I go in for an appointment because I know he will make the experience as painless as possible. I heartily recommend Alaska Dental Arts and Dr. Allen Smith.
