Rodeway Inn (Formerly Beaver Creek Inn and Suites)

We stayed here over the summer, and everything was great- prices were super competitive, the place is dog friendly, and the room / grounds were spotless. You can tell the owners take great pride in their business.nnGreat hotel option if you're vacationing in Medora ND, and are trying to be budget conscious - about 25 to 30 minutes from town, and its the only dog friendly option we could find.

We booked 3 rooms the day before we were to come through town. The next morning we had a change of plans. We called them and they said no problem!?! The following week we got charged in full !! $72 per room. We called them and they sent a MESSAGE back saying ,”I am the assistant manager and you need not try to call back because there is nothing he will do! It is hotel policy!” If we were informed this when we called to cancel we would not have changed our plans. BE CAREFUL about making any reservations here. They do not care for the patrons, only the money.

After my husband and I were leaving the parking lot, the manager came running after us and started questioning us over a broken window (from the outside) in the room we stayed in. We told him that we had no idea of how the window was broken and we did not break it (the window was the outside window). The manager asked if someone was trying to get ahold of us by throwing rocks. I was astonished by this claim since this is the age of cell phones and the hotel was always unlocked. If someone really wanted to get ahold of us they would have called or knocked on the door. The entire conversation was questioning, not once did he mention that we would be charged.nWell to my surprise one morning I looked on my online bank statement and $250 was taken out of my account for something we did not do, and they did not inform us that they were taking it out. I called the hotel right away and I spoke with the manager. She stated that they did not take the money but the owner did and I should be talking with the owner and how she will forward my number to him. Well needless to say, he did not call me. So the next morning I called the hotel to obtain contact information for me to call him, they said that was not possible. So they took my phone number and I waited for a call, a call that did not come. So the next morning (two days after my initial call) I called the hotel, I demanded pictures of the broken window as well, receipt of the broken window, as the document that stated they can take whatever money they want without my knowledge, I did not receive any of the documents.nA few things that are really fishy with this situation, first, it is the outside window, so how in the world would we break it? Secondly, we did not leave the parking lot when the manager came running questioning us over the window, so how would he know to check it right away? Thirdly, our wedding party received great compliments from the managers during our stay for how quiet we were as well as polite, so how, out of nowhere would we break a window? We also cleaned our garbage and gave them our keys back. Also, why would the owner not call me back or give me the document that I supposedly sign to me upon my request? They also stated that they have pictures of not be broken 24 hours before I check in, so nothing could happen within those 24 hours?nI would not recommend this place, they are thieves that stole my money after giving them a ton of business from our wedding.nPlease stay in Beach or Glendive, otherwise you could fall victim to this hotel, like I did.

Very nice. Clean and up to date. Also, it's in a very quiet and secure area, and there's not much traffic at all.

So lucky we found this place!! This is the type of place the makes America such a wonderful place to live. We’re driving across country for a funeral, picked up screw in my tire, and fairly fast leak.This was the first safe place we happened upon. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. And Joe, the manager, fixed our flat! Joe, you’re the best!!
