There is no gate to the garage, instead you buy a ticket, enter your plate number and presumably they do random checks on plates and mail you a ticket if you don't pay.nnAs of January 2021- First two hours are free. It's $1 an hour afterwards up to 24 hours max. You can also buy a discounted $5 daily pass for 6am-6pm and a discounted $3 overnight pass for 5pm-8am. The kicker is you can only buy those tickets in between those hours. So for example if you park overnight for $3, you will need to return to buy a new ticket or move your car before 8am. I wish the city published this information in the garage since it was a bit annoying to figure out the restrictions by trial and error.nnThe terminal on the 1st floor seems to have a malfunction where it intermittently blocks the credit card from entering- though after 6 or so tries I got it to work. There is a very buggy app you can also download though it blocks any purchasing of parking past 6pm until 6pm.

Really happy this place is available for downtown as parking can be horrendous. This garage makes getting a spot super easy, although a little tight in some spaces for my suburban. Easy to get your ticket/fees figured out. Great location.

They will screw you over at every opportunity. The first two hours are free but you will not be able to add time it appears after you first enter the garage resulting in a ticket even when you try to add time to shop at local businesses. They mail you the ticket so you will not be able to deal with it while your are there. The most anti tourist parking facility I have ever visited. I guess it's best to avoid shopping in the downtown.

Bozeman needed this parking garage so much! It is bright and clean, even when the streets are snowy and muddy. The location is great. It is an added bonus that most of the time I want to use it, it's fee free. :)
